If you have trouble viewing the above sentence, dates, or other text on this blog; please follow the following instructions. The instructions will install files for East Asian languages which will allow you to view characters associated with languages such as Chinese and Japanese.
Note:
a.) This algorithm was created using Windows XP SP2. Other versions of Windows may differ.
b.) This may require your windows disk. This disk came with your computer or your package of windows.

1.) Open your "Control Panel." This can be accessed through the "Start" menu.
2.) Open the "Regional and Language Options" window.
3.) Click the "Languages" tab.
4.) [This step may require you to install additional files from your Windows Disk] Find the "Supplemental language support" box. Within this box should be two check boxes. [Once you check a box, the computer will install files associated with the associated languages] Check the box next to "Install files for East Asian languages."

I hope this helps anyone who has been having trouble viewing this blog or other web pages using East Asian characters. If you are still having trouble viewing all of the characters, you may want to try changing the character encoding in your browser. In Mozilla, this option is located in the "View" menu. Other help may be found at Microsoft's website. Good luck!
