Hopes & Dreams -- 希望と夢

Peering through pale blue mist,
Obscuring the distance in sight,
Over rock, rubber, and wheel,
Sitting in the early morning light.

Caught somewhere in between,
Wading through the present & past,
Country & city, old farm & house new,
Surrounded close & spread vast.

Over dark soil & lightly broken rock,
Arrived in leisurely haste,
Connected to our excursion,
Hopes & dreams for one's time in life,
Brought to life & realization.

見えている路程を暈してる
蒼白色な青い霧を見つめて、
石とラバーと環の上に、
早朝の光の中に座ってる。

中間のどこかに刺さって、
現在と過去を押しわたる。
田園と都市、古い田んぼと新しい家が、
近く囲んで広く撒き散らす。

黒い土とうっすら壊れた石の上に、
悠長にあたふたと着く。
清遊とつないだのは、
一期の希望と夢が、
結実と生きになさせた。

再び吹いている風 - - The Again Blowing Wind

Resting softly on the ground,
Motionless, limp, and lifeless,
Like a cutout paper doll
Forgotten in the late afternoon surround.

With warmth and speed,
Gusting from there,
From where who's eyes and ears,
And thoughts and hearts know not where.

Rising and falling,
Shifting and calling,
Covering the land,
In life filled motion.

To what was dead and dark,
Painful and left alone,
Grows lively and green,
From what was once cold stone.

Up on the again blowing wind,
Flying, dancing, and unhurried,
Out into the unknown,
My heart is gently carried.


すっと地盤にあって、
不動で、ぐにゃぐにゃで、死灰、
遅い午後の周に忘れた
切り取られた紙の人形のように。

温もりと高速度で
あそこから吹いてる、
目と耳も想いと心も
知らぬあそこから。

上って下がって、
移り行いて呼んで、
生き生きの動きを
大地に被せてる。

暗澹で死んでいたことには、
苦しくて放置のことには、
冷たい石塊だったことから
生々しく成長してる。

再び吹いている風で
飛揚して踊っていて遽しくなく
遥かな不明へ
俺の心を徐に持って行っている。

If you have beer, drink up, but don't drive!

If you enjoy yourself, remember all those who will never come home, who are now away from their families, and the families of those who have provided and protected this country...

...and remember that freedoms are not free. Sacrifices to the altar of freedom are not only made with lives, but time, money, diligence, and voting for those people with strong enough character to relinquish power from the government.

I drove to Indianapolis to listen to Stephen Cherniske talk.

He talked about aging, wellness, the sickness industry, and what people can do about being healthy.

スチベン・チャネスキさんを聞きにインディアナポリスへ運転しました。

エージングとかケアウエルとか｢病気のインダストリ｣とかヘルシーに居座るためにできることについて話していました。

ウエスタンの米国に言ってるはずか住んでるはずで、スチベンさんを聞きたかったら、メッセージを送ってください。完売じゃなかったら、私が切符を駆り切れてあげます。

I'm such a dummy! －－ 俺の馬鹿！

Haha...I was so excited about going to see Dream Theater, I made a Faux Pas in ordering the ticktes.

It's not in Columbus! It's in Cleveland! OOPS!

The Difference in driving time is going to be 4 more hours than what I thought. Total Driving time is going to be about 16hrs.


ハハハ…切符を買いの間違ったほど、ＤｒｅａｍＴｈｅａｔｅｒを見ることを騒いでいた！

カランバスじゃなくて、クリーブランドだ！間違った！

思ったよりドライブ時間の違いは四時間で、だから合計は十六時間ぐらいになる。

山の日没 －－ Mountain Sunset

クリングマンス・ドームから帰る間に凄く奇麗な日没を見た。あんまり良くない写真を写せたけど、その日没の美しさを全然攻略できなかったと思います。その時にいって見てよかった。

On the way back from Clingman's Dome, we saw a very beautiful sunset. Although I was able to take some pictures that weren't all that bad, I don't think I was able to capture the beauty of that sunset. I'm glad I was able to be there and see it.
