When the Wind Starts to Blow

Like the gentle caress
Of the warm blowing breeze,
I remember how it held me
With such comfort and ease.

How strong, tall, and safe;
That’s how it made me feel.
As if nothing else was there,
And all my wounds were healed.

I reached out to hold
What had just come to be found.
I would have given the world’s gold,
But it was gone without a sound.

Blown away with the wind;
Carried past my sight.
And I was left with my sin
In the darkness without a light.

I felt of my wounds,
And dropped straight to my knees,
As if parts of myself
Were consumed by the seas.

And I laid incomplete
With what little I kept.
I cried out to that wind
As I laid there and wept.

I wiped away my tears
And let grace light my way.
For a moment I could hear
A silent voice say,

“The emptiness you feel
Will be filled and overflow,
And your wounds to heal
When the wind starts to blow.”



風が吹き出すと

暖かい吹いている風の
優しい愛撫ように、
安心感
抱き方を覚えてる。

なんと強くて高くて安全、
そんなに気分がさせた。
何もなかったふうに、
傷が一切治してくれた。

先程見つけてきたことを、
握ると手を伸ばした。
世界の金をあげるんだが、
音がないと失せ去ってしまった。

吹き飛ばされて、
視界の遠くへ運んでいた。
光がなく暗闇の中に、
私の罪と一人でいた。

傷を触れて調べて、
私の部分が海に、
食べ尽くされたように、
膝に急に倒れた。

残っていた少しで
未完成の私が横たえた。
あそこに横たえて泣く間に
その風に声を立てた。

涙を拭い取って、
道が御恵みに照らさせた。
瞬間無言の声を
聞こえました。

いっぱいに塞いで観覧して、
傷が一切治して、
風が吹き出すと。｣

Black Clouds & Silver Linings Review -- ｢Black Clouds & Silver Linings｣の評論

Dream Theater(DT) has released their 10th studio album. I find Black Clouds to be one of the worst DT albums they have released, and am rating it 2.5/5. The reason for this is that I found there to be many issues with the musical arrangement, musical transition between phrases of the songs, lyrics, and lyrics that are very uncharacteristic of DT music. This may seem like a very poor rating, but I am only comparing this album to other DT albums and not any other artist or group. That being said, had this album been released by another group, my rating would have been higher; possibly 3-4/5.

ドリーム・シアター(DT)が十番目のアルバムを公開されました。全アルバムの中で一番嫌いで、私の5分の2.5と評価します。この評価の理由はDTの音楽の特徴のない音楽の配列と違う楽句の間の変わり目と作詞の問題です。2.5の評価は低そうかもしれないが、他のグループじゃなくて、他のDTのアルバムと比べている。他のグループがこのアルバムを公開すれば、評価がちょっと高くなって、三と四の間になるかもしれない。
