昨日きっかりガスタンクの体積を見つけ出した。前の一、二日間車のガソリンを尽くしていて、私が｢満ち足りるようなこと｣と思っていたが、 違った！ノックスビルの｢オルド・シティ｣と言う場所から近いの｢西・サミット・ヒル｣と言う道でガソリンスタンドを差し掛かって小さいな坂の上に運転し ていた間、車が涸れた。ノックスビルに住んでいたら、この場所を知ってるかもしれない。出して坂の上に車を押し付けなければいかなかった。坂の上からガソ リンスタンドまで転がせました。今満幅のガスタンクの体積をきっかり知ってる…１５．１１ガロンだ。次回いっそガスを買います！
Exactly 15.11 Gallons
Yesterday I found what the exact capacity of my car's gas tank is. I was running low on gas the last couple of days and I was thinking, "oh, I have enough gas to make it." ...But I was wrong! As I approached a gas station while driving uphill, my car ran out of gas on W. Summit Hill near the the gas station close to the old city. If you live in Knoxville, you might know where this is. I had to get out of the car and push it up to the top of the hill and then coast to the gas station. And now I know EXACTLY how much gas is in my car when I fill it up. ...15.11 gallons! Next time I think I'll stop for gas sooner!
